Hills View Guest House, Kent Avenue. It had eight beds in a quaint old three bedroom house, across the street from the sea, and the view was lovely.
- Opened by Mrs. Stacy Russell, an American, who arrived in Jamaica in 1957 as a travel agent. She had a parrot sitting in a cage on the front porch. A mongoose in a cage in the back yard. Bougainvillea flowers in the yard. She gave character to the guest house. She served bed and breakfast. She also displayed art work (on consignment) of locally famous Jamaican artists for sale. When you checked out of Hills View Guest House you knew the history of Jamaica. A guest at Hills View Guest house got their "money's worth."
- The property is now behind a high cinder block wall and at least some of the buildings are decaying.
