Melrose House. 117 Duke Street, Kingston.
- In March 1907 the house had been completely restored and was ready to receive permanent boarders. Operated by Miss Phillips.
- In 1909 the advertisements were for private board and lodging.
- In 1920, due to the owner's ill health, the boarding house was offered for sale as a going concern. It had 13 bedrooms, two bathrooms on upper floors, eight servant rooms, and about two acres of land.
- In 1928 it was first called the Melrose Hotel, and the name alternated between that and Melrose House Hotel.
- In 1931 a miniature golf course was completed.
- In the 1930s it was run by Carmen Lindo and owned by Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Frazer.
- It was gone by 1982 and torn down. Apartments replaced it.
