Rose Hall Beach Hotel

Rose Hall Beach Hotel & Country Club. Former 18th-c sugar plantation.

American John Rollins purchased the plantation in 1964.
The golf course was designed in 1969. It was opened in the fall of 1974.
The golf course, and the great house, are now the Cinnamon Hill Golf Course.
The hotel opened in off-season 1974 as the Rose Hall Inter-Continental Hotel & Country Club with some 508 rooms.
On February 1, 1983 leased to Wyndham Hotel Company, under the trading name of "Rose Hall Beach Hotel and Country Club."
In August 1989 the government sold the Wyndham Rosehall Beach Hotel to its operators, The Wyndham Group, at a price of US$22 million. An additional US$10 million is to be spent on a major refurbishing to be undertaken over two years. The golf course and country club were long-term leased to the investors.
In 2018 it had 489 rooms.
Now is Hilton Rose Hall Resort and Spa.
