Carlyle Beach Hotel.
- Opened in January 1968 with 160-beds in a three-story structure with 52 rooms. It had a large swimming pool and the "London Pub," restaurant and bar.
- In 1982 the beach across the street disappeared under the sea mysteriously and later suddenly reappears overnight.
- In 1985 this was the second Sandals, the Sandals Carlisle.
- By 1990, the hotel became the Sandals Carlyle-on-the-Bay Hotel.
- By 1991 it was the Sandals Inn.
- In 2014 the hotel was to be rebranded as a Grand Pineapple Beach Resort [Sandals lower priced brand], but it continued as the Sandals Inn with 52 rooms until 2019. See 2019 website in archive.org.
- It will be a Grand Pineapple Beach Resort when it reopens.
