Eaton Hall Hotel. Former great house. Advertised as a charming old inn on the sea. Not much beach front, but excellent for snorkeling. Hence not prime property.
- Open by 1952. Under English owner management.
- In 1958 the hotel accommodated 20 people.
- In November 1977, Mr. Lionel Reid took over. The hotel had 35 rooms. He was off to a slow start. His market is: honeymooners, business executives, and 'people of discerning taste'.
- In the 1980s this was the Jack Tar Runaway Bay, which had a very solid staff, making it a hidden gem.
- In 1984 it featured a nude beach. Bamboo fencing was erected.
- It is all still there and since 2000 has been used as villas for SuperClubs (and presumably Jewel) managers and staff to live in.
