The Hacton House. Overlooking Doctor's Cave Beach.
- In 1895 the Hacton House was advertised as a residence about a mile from Montego Bay on the main road to Falmouth.
- It was next listed for rent in 1942.
- In 1952 it was mentioned as a guest house.
- In 1955 it was being advertised as a small hotel. Each room with private bath and balcony. It was overlooking the sea and adjoining the Casa Blanca gardens. Being run by Margaret "Madge" Taylor. It was a popular place to gather for drinks and admire the view.
- In 1965 the hotel redecorated, rewired and air-conditioning was installed.
- In 1971 the hotel had 27 rooms.
- It is on the Texaco maps to their last map in 1990.
- It appears that by 1990 to have become the Caribic House Hotel at 69 Gloucester Avenue, with 17 rooms.
- By 1990, Gordon and Anne Townsend owned the Caribic House.
- Around 2010 the "Jamaica Bobsled Cafe and Pizzeria" was on the ground floor.
- The Caribic House no longer has a restaurant or bar. At the street level was Harley-Davidson Jamaica, a collectibles store. But they have moved to a larger premises at Whitter Village, a modern new shopping centre out by Ironshore.
