Marrakesh Beach Hotel & Cabana Club.
- Promoted by Americans Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Zuman. It was supposed to be completed at the end of 1958.
- Opened for the 1959-60 season with 208 air-conditioned rooms, Olympian pool, Cabanas, Nite Club, everything for the perfect tropical holiday.
- During the 1963-64 season it was The Reef Club.
- On January 4, 1965 it opened as the Jamaica Playboy Club-Hotel.
- In March 1968 a group of Milwaukee area businessmen and investors purchased the hotel for a reported $2,750,000.
- It closed after 1976.
- The property was acquired in 1984 and in late 1986 opened as a Superclub family resort Boscobel Beach Club. It was the first family-oriented all-inclusive.
- In December 1992 the hotel reported an occupancy level of 78%, with a projection of 100% over the Christmas holidays, and for the remainder of the tourist season.
- In 1999 it was the Boscobel Beach Hotel.
- In 2002 it was the 224-room Beaches Boscobel Resort & Golf Club.
- It then became the Sandals Beaches Boscobel Resort and Golf Club.
- Now is the Beaches Ocho Rios.
