Mar Vista Hotel, 33 Gloucester Ave. Overlooking Montego Bay.
- Opened by 1935.
- By 1945 the hotel was sub-divided into self-contained flats which were rented on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Closed Winter 1960. It was bought by the Ridgely brothers and renamed Ridgely's Plaza. There was a night club and steakhouse.
- In 1969 the hotel was bought by Mr. Leroy Foster.
- The last newspaper mention of the Ridgely Plaza hotel is 1970.
- It became the Belvedere Beach Hotel.
- After a 2007 refurbishing and reopening it became the 26-room Altamont West Hotel. A sister hotel to the Altamont Court in Kingston.
