• In 1957 it was Jamaica's only motel. It, and 22 acres, was sold early that year for £70,000.
• The Guide to Jamaica: 1958 has: Motel, five miles from town, accommodation 50 persons. Air-conditioned chalets and housekeeping units. Swimming pool, beach, restaurant, bar.
• In 1959 the sole owner and proprietress was Margaret Webster (after kicking out her ex). She also had Driftwood Cottages.
• It dropped off the maps after 1965.
