The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, 20 Oxford Road, then 81 Knutsford Blvd, New Kingston
- In October 1968 it was announced that BOAC would finance a 350-room, £3.5m hotel. Construction will begin in early 1969 and is expected to be completed in the first half of 1971. The hotel will be 18-stories with complete convention facilities, including a 10,550 square foot convention hall and a convention-type dining room. Also planned are a swimming pool, bars, and an open-air roof-top restaurant. There will be 700 beds and it will cater for meetings of as many as 1,000 persons. It is on a 3-1/2 acre site comprising three acres of The Liguanea Club golf course and an adjoining property. (In 2002 the remaining golf course became Emancipation Park.)
- In April 1969 work is to begin soon. The hotel will be operated day-to-day and managed by Trust Houses Forte Hotels.
- In November 1969 it was an 8-1/2 acre site.

- In October 1972 it was reported that the hotel is nearing completion slowly but surely.
