Royal Caribbean Hotel and Sea Club, Mahoe Bay.

• Opened early 1958.
• In 1965 the hotel constructed 20 air-conditioned bedrooms, three penthouses, a new dining terrace and meeting room. The new units increased the capacity to 250 guests.
• In the late 1960s there was a 47-room addition.
• On December 1, 1982 leased to Royal Caribbean Management under the trading name of "Royal Caribbean Hotel."
• In May 1986 the hotel was opened as the third Sandals, the Sandals Royal Caribbean, a family all-inclusive entity. "The only resort in Jamaica with its own private island."
