Trelawny Club → Cardiff Hotel & Spa a.k.a. Runaway Bay Heart Hotel

- The Trelawny Club. Opened by Fall 1961. Located on the 300 year-old Cardiff Hall Estate overlooking the golf course. It had 38 rooms.
- Family villas, called Panarama, were first offered to rent by the week in December 1963. You had access to The Trelawny Club.
- Within a short time it became part of The Trelawny Club. They would have become privately owned after the hotel ceased.
- Stopped operating after 1966?
- On December 14, 1973 the Trelawny Beach Hotel, a 400-room hotel with convention facilities, was officially opened. The Great Hall sat 950 people and the main dining room sat 400. It catered to locals.
- On January 1, 1982 leased to Cornwall Holdings Corporation under the trading name of "Trelawny Beach Hotel" – otherwise called "Hedonism"
- In 1986 it became The Cardiff Hotel & Spa a.k.a. Runaway Bay Heart Hotel, run by the HEART College of Hospitality Services.
