Royal Court Hotel, 13 Sewell Avenue, Red Hills
- Opened 1968 by Dorothy Gourzong. Formed as an approved hotel, to be established at Red Hills and effective December 15, 1968. The hotel has air-conditioned and carpeted bedrooms, two duplex luxury apartments, beauty salons (she has others in other hotels), bars and a dining room.
- Advertised to tourists only at the very start. Then advertised specials to locals in the Gleaner on and off. And events at the hotel were advertised.
- In August 1973 the hotel opened a night spot "Room at the Top" with live entertainment. It was behind the hotel and more elevated.
- In 1974 the night spot became the Soul to Soul Disco. Gleaner references for the disco lasted until January 1980.
- By 1997 it was the Royal Court Hotel and Health Resort, offering a variety of treatments in holistic care. They are exploring music therapy as a relaxing aid, thereby helping to heal the mind and body.
- The hotel was put up for auction on December 1, 2003. It had 0.89 acres, and the hotel was configured with 19 apartments (1 to 3 bedrooms).
- In January 2004 the hotel was listed for sale for US$625,000. The property houses nine buildings comprising 25 rooms, medical block, administrative block, laundry, utility, dining room, kitchen and pool bar with gazebo. Listing continues to June 2004.
- In September 2007 the hotel is listed for sale. 59 bedrooms, 9 buildings totalling 20636.55 sq. ft. US$900,000.
- In February 2008 it was again listed for sale. It has 20 apartment units. Listing continues until April. The price is still US$900,000.
- The listing reappears in October 2008.
- In March 2009 an advertisement for apartments to rent appears. See clipping.
- In April 2009 the for sale ad reappears. Still US$900,000.
- In November 2009 the price is US$700,000.
- In June 2010 the price is US$750,000.
- In July 2010 the price is back up to US$900,000.
- In February 2011 the hotel is still listed and still US$900,000. Same through November. Then no more Gleaner mentions.
- The pool is being maintained.
