The Stony Hill Hotel, Hermitage Dam Road, Kingston. 1200 feet elevation overlooking the Kingston Harbour.
- The first Gleaner mention is 1930, for a Saturday Night dance.
- In 1932 the proprietor was Miss Dwyer. It was mostly a tavern, but has some rooms for lodgers.
- In November 1960 it was the new Stony Hill Hotel. It was considered swanky. It was filled with art: tiled mosaics, Picasso reproductions, kitsch, large ceramic pieces and figurative lamps. There were also legendary murals.
- In 1960, Sammy Davis Jr. stayed at the hotel for a better view of Kingston.

- On September 22, 2003, Celia Marie Langdon, the hotelier, died. Her family took over.
- In February 2009 the hotel had a garage sale.
- In June 2017, all hotel equipment was listed for sale.
- In January 2021, Ms. Langdon's estate was being settled.
